Moving right along

So the renovation has been moving right along and I am behind in my posts. This post will be to catch you up on what the house looked like when we bought it and how it looks now.

This is the kitchen in all it’s green glory:

The temporary wall holding up kitchen for when they blow the wall out to add on. This is where the sink and dishwasher were.

And after. We changed the direction of the staircase to give us more room, add a coat closet by the front door and tie the living and dining rooms together.

  1. It’s always interesting and exciting to follow along during a remodel. It’s looking good. I’ll bet you’re excited too. Hopefully you’ll adapt well to those legendary Michigan winters.

    • The winters would be less painful if they were not so long. Snow is fine for a few weeks, then I would like it to be sunny again. 🙂
We are really excited about the house. Once we move in it will be nice to finally feel like we are settled.
